United Methodist Women (UMW)

For 140 years the United Methodist Women has provided opportunities for women to grow spiritually to become deeply rooted in Christ and put faith into action.  The UMW vision is to turn faith, hope and love into action on behalf of women, children and youth around the word.  Members worldwide raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the US and in more than 100 countries around the world.

The Front Royal United Methodist Women are organized into four circles.  Each circle meets monthly for spiritual growth and missions. Over $7,500 each year is raised for local and global missions.  Fund raisers include Shrove Pancake Dinner, Lenten Prayer Breakfast, Yard Sale, Book Sale and Fall Bazaar. The FRUMC United Methodist Women also support grieving member families by hosting receptions following funerals and support the EBS Child Development Center.
